Pediatric Hospitalist Medical Director Needed

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Pediatric Hospitalist Medical Director at Huntsville Memorial Hospital located in Huntsville, Texas.

The Women's Health Services (WHS) unit features five private birthing suites, where mothers can labor, deliver and recover all in one room. After a baby is born, they are observed and bathed in the mother's room to promote bonding. From this point forward, the baby stays in the mother's room throughout the hospital stay.

"Rooming-in" is required by the Nursing unit for the purpose of infant care education and maternal/family bonding. Perinatal nurses continually monitor mothers and babies during hospitalization. Newborns return to the nursery only for lab tests and necessary medical care. We provide maternal and child services, including Level I and Level II neonatal care
